The Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers so we mostly open on selected weekends and Bank Holidays between April and November. In 2023 we’re also planning to open on three weeks in school holidays. To see when we are open, please check our events calendar here.
We have plentiful free parking, and dogs on a SHORT lead are welcome.
Group visits on open days are welcome; if coming by coach, please let us know in advance so we can arrange parking.

WANT TO BRING A VINTAGE VEHICLE TO AN OPEN DAY?
We’re always glad to see owners of vintage cars, motorcycles, buses and lorries on our open days. If you have a car club, why not make us the refreshment stop on a road run? Please note, on some open days when other events are planned you may need to make formal bookings for your vehicle(s). Please let us know in advance so we can reserve space for you.
