Many people believe that the trolleybus remains the most environmentally friendly form of road transport ever invented. Towns in many countries around the world still subscribe to that view, renewing their trolleybus systems.
At the Trolleybus Museum we recognise our own responsibilities to the environment, by managing the biodiversity of our site, reducing the amount of energy we consume and waste we produce. We have an Environmental Policy, which you can read here and were awarded Green Ambassador status in 2023.
Please help us to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill by using the recycling bins where these are provided for clean paper, hard plastic, glass and tins. Thank you!
