The Bradford Trolleybus Association One of the Contributing Societies to The Trolleybus Museum, the Association owns Bradford 758 which was one of the last new trolleybuses purchased by the city. The Association’s principle mission is to restore it to operational condition.

A Brief History of the Texas Railroads: A page for those whose interests aren’t confined to road transport or the UK. Railway development in Texas initially followed a similar course to that of the UK – and faced many of the same challenges, including social concerns – but in the 20th century their paths diverged, with Texan railroads now being used predominantly for freight. The page has links to sites giving more detailed information on the subject.
Constructing the Transcontinental Railroad A US site, again linked to other sites with more information, telling the story of the construction of the rival Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads. A story which has many parallels with the development of railways in the UK, although violent resistance from native tribes is something British entrepreneurs didn’t have to contend with!

Getting to the Trolleybus Museum
JustGo North Lincs is the only bus service to serve Sandtoft on open days. It is a demand-responsive service which runs on Monday to Saturday from Scunthorpe; all journeys must be booked in advance.
The National Rail Enquiries website includes a journey planner and allows you to purchase tickets without a booking fee. It also includes live train running times, accessibility, and facility information.
