The Museum is now closed for the winter. We re-open at Easter – Saturday 4th April 2026

  • 6 April 2026, 10:30 am: Open Day
  • 7 April 2026, 10:30 am: Weekday Opening

We open on a selection of weekends between April and November (normally these include Bank Holiday weekends) and three weeks during the Spring/Summer Bank Holidays as shown in the  calendar below. Admission for events with a brown background is charged at our Standard rate; ones with a red background are Premium events and charged at higher prices.
 
Details of our 2026 open days are provisional so although the dates we will be open are unlikely to change, any special themes may be subject to alteration – so please keep checking back!
 
We can open for private visits on other dates if arranged in advance – there is a minimum charge for this. If you’d like to know more, check this page.

What's happening: A celebration of the 1940's over three days at Easter! There'll be:

  • Live entertainment
  • Sales stalls
  • Bar
  • Visiting vehicles of the period
  • Re-enactors in period costume
  • Join our Artist in Residence, Julie Oxenforth, for an art workshop!

Plus all our usual attractions.

Getting to the Museum:

  • (Saturday only) we are running free buses to and from Thorne to connect with First South Yorkshire service 387; further details can be found here.
  • justgo North Lincs is an on-demand service providing links from Crowle and Scunthorpe. Trips have to be booked in advance; more details here.
