The Sandtoft Gathering 2024

We open on a selection of weekends between April and November (normally these include Bank Holiday weekends) as shown in the calendar below. Admission for events with a brown background is charged at our Standard rate; ones with a red background are Premium events and charged at higher prices.

Details of our 2024 and 2025 open days are provisional, so although the dates we will be open are unlikely to change, any special themes may be subject to alteration – so please keep checking back!

We can open for private visits on other dates if arranged in advance – there is a minimum charge for this. If you’d like to know more, check this page.

13 Weekend Open Days - Atkinson Lorries Weekend Open Days - Atkinson Lorries 10:30 am – 4:30 pm 13 July 2024 Open from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm; last admission 3.30 pm. What's happening: We'll have all our usual attractions plus a display of classic Atkinson lorries. We will be running an accessible trolleybus or motorbus, subject to availability. Getting to the Museum: (Saturday only) we are running free buses to and from Thorne to connect with First South Yorkshire service 387; further details can be found here. justgo North Lincs is an on-demand service providing links from Crowle and Scunthorpe. What's happening: A preview of the Sandtoft Gathering itself, which takes place the following day, with all our usual attractions. All our usual attractions, plus: Real ale beer tent provided by the CAMRA-listed and LocAle-accredited Doncaster Brewery & Tap (https://doncasterbrewery.co.uk/) Displays of vintage cars, buses, motorcycles Additional tours of the local area, using vintage buses Transport flea market PLEASE NOTE: WE REGRET WE CANNOT PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE TROLLEYBUS AT THIS EVENT Getting to the Museum: We'll be running free buses to and from Doncaster Interchange throughout the day.
