Contributing Societies

The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft has three supporting societies. Members of these socities recieve discounted annual membership of The Trolleybus Museum. They are:

Bradford Trolleybus Association

The Association's aims are to co-ordinate the preservation of the city's trolleybuses and, eventually, to restore vehicles to operational condition. Their current project is Bradford 758, Britian's last open rear platform trolleybus, which is a resident at The Trolleybus Museum. Visit their website at www.bradfordtrolleybusassociation.co.uk

British Trolleybus Society

Formed out the Reading Transport Society, a founding group at The Trolleybus Museum, the BTS has a large collection of trolleybus, most of which live at The Museum and is one the UK's largest trolleybus groups. Visit their website at www.britishtrolley.org.uk

Doncaster Omnibus & Light Railway Society

One of the original founding groups at The Trolleybus Museum and the most local, DOLRS has a keen interest in the local transport history, owning 5 former Doncaster Corporation motorbuses and Doncaster's last trolleybus, most of which live at The Trolleybus Museum. Find out more at www.dolrs.org.uk
